Hello Dear Friend,
Thank you for stopping by. If you are here to find out more about our project, then please take a moment read through our dream of building a CIG Village in Ireland.
CIG is a Korean phrase that translates roughly into One Heavenly Nation. It is a core concept in the teachings of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU). Based on this ideal, the FFWPU Ireland community has a vision to create a community area where our members can live together as families.
In order to reach this vision, we’ll need to buy land and start to develop it. As a first step, we want to purchase a Won Jeon (a holy plot for burials) for our members who have passed to spirit world. Our Irish community is a small one, and we are very lucky to have a beautiful Georgian building in the center of our capital. It has been a stable force for our community. It has helped many of our families at times of need and it is a place where our young people can stay so that they are close to the big universities.
Our Families are getting bigger, there are more children being born and we long to buy a place or land that we can build on to help take care of our growing families. A place where we can connect to Heavenly Parents creation and be at peace. We also need a place were we can honor the members who have passed. At the moment the Irish community doesn’t have a Holy Ground or a Won Jeon so we would like to build up to that as our first goal.
We have set up this website and shop, so that some of our members can create products to sell that you can enjoy, or you can donate to the project directly.
TLDR: The Bullet Point Version
Build a place for our community, our own little CIG village.
Our first goal is to buy Holy ground and Won Jeon.
We estimate this will cost roughly 100,000 Euros:
40,000 to purchase a 1-2 acre site of land in the Irish country side
Another 10,000 for surveying and planning permission application + legal fees, etc.
50,000 to build a small building on the site for receptions and Seonghwa services
Next goal is to have enough for land to build a few houses on, and then maybe a communal farm.
Then we would like to build a church community like Camberg or the Farm in UK.
We are also very inspired by our brothers and sisters in Slovakia, for their community family homes.
We want to have a clear and transparent process, so we will be providing regular updates.
